2023-24 School Calendar
Sunday, May 5 No class for adults. Instead, the adult class will meet on Monday, May 6 8:45-9:30 PM in the upstairs rehearsal space at St. Vlad’s.
The Box Office Opens May 9th! Get your tickets for our Year End Concert! Dancers performing in the show do not require tickets. Tickets must be pre-ordered and all seating is available first-come when the doors open at 6:00 PM. This is a wonderful evening to share with your family and friends. Purchase your tickets here beginning May 9. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Friday, May 10 – Sunday, May 12 Senior and Adult dance classes compete in the Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Festival in St. Albert. Venue: The Arden Theatre. Schedules have been emailed to all classes participating. Be sure to arrive at the theatre early to find parking as it is limited.

Thursday, May 16 Dress Rehearsal at St. Vlad’s beginning at 6:00 PM for all classes. We will send an email the week of the dress rehearsal to inform you of which costume your child should arrive in. Pick up times: Sadochok/Pre-B/Beg 7:30 PM, Intermediate 8:15 PM, Seniors 9 PM. Please see the email sent to you on April 26 for more important details. Sadochok and Pre-Beginner dancers will each be given a complimentary ticket at dress rehearsal as they sit with their parents in the audience during the first half of the Year End Concert. Sign up here to volunteer at Dress Rehearesal & Year End Concert (May 26). Parents must drop off their child at rehearsal and return at pick up time unless they have signed up for a volunteer role for Dress Rehearsal & Year End Concert.
Sunday, May 19 No Adult dance class.
Monday, May 20 No Senior dance class.
Sunday, May 26 Technical Rehearsal (1:30-3:30 PM) and Year End Concert (5:30 PM dancers arrive/6:00 PM Doors Open/6:30 Performance) at the University Theatre. Tickets must be purchased before the theatre’s online box office. This can be done online beginning May 9. Tickets can also be purchased at the door the day of the event. Pre-Beginner and Sadochok dancers perform in the second half of the show so will sit with their families during the first half. Pre-Beginner and Sadochok dancers will each be given a complimentary ticket at the dress rehearsal. Sign up here to volunteer at Dress Rehearsal (May 16) and Year End Concert (May 26). We recommend volunteers who will be helping at tech rehearsal and attending the concert later in the evening park in the Arts Parkade and pay the daily rate as this costs less than paying to park hourly in nearby surface lots. Thursday, May 30 Last Thursday night Pre-Beginner/Beginner/Intermediate/Senior dance class of the year.
Saturday, June 1 & Sunday, June 2 All classes perform at the Calgary Ukrainian Festival (CUF). Schedule TBA. Venue: Acadia Recreation Complex. Sign up here to volunteer at CUF. This festival has grown and parking can be difficult. Arrive early to find parking at the Rec Complex or the Lord Beaverbrook High School parking lot next door.
